US President Joe Biden visited a war memorial for his uncle, who served in the Pacific theater during World War II, during his visit to Scranton, Pennsylvania.

According to a report by Haberler.com, Biden implied that his uncle, Ambrose Finnegan, was eaten by cannibals in New Guinea after his plane crashed during World War II. Military records, however, indicate that the plane went missing over the Pacific.

"THEY NEVER FOUND HIS BODY, THERE WERE A LOT OF CANNIBALS IN THAT AREA"

Speaking to reporters before boarding his plane to leave Scranton, Biden said, “He got shot down in an area where there were a lot of cannibals in New Guinea at the time. They never recovered his body, but the government went back, when I went down there, and they checked and found some parts of the plane.”

Biden recounted the same story to union members after arriving in Pittsburgh. Biden stated, “He got shot down in New Guinea and they never found the body because there used to be a lot of cannibals, for real, in that part of New Guinea.”
