The judge also ruled that two posts by Giulia Cortese contained defamation and fell under the scope of “body shaming.”
As reported by T24, the decision came after a post in which Cortese described Meloni as a “little woman” and said, "I can't even see you."
Reacting to the ruling, Cortese claimed that the Italian government has a “serious problem with freedom of expression and journalistic dissent.”
Italian media reports that Meloni's height is 1.63 meters.
Cortese added that she is Italian and proud of it, but that she "deserves better than this terrible and shameful government."
