Khamenei's military advisor Rezai: Talks are at a stalemate and Trump must break this deadlock

Mohsen Rezai, military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, made a statement regarding the ceasefire talks with the US.

Stating that a potential agreement between the US and Tehran depends on the administration of US President Donald Trump, Rezai said, "The talks are at a stalemate and Trump must break this deadlock."

Emphasizing that a potential agreement between the US and Tehran depends on the Trump administration agreeing to release 24 billion dollars in frozen Iranian assets, Khamenei's military advisor stated, "This is our money, not America's. If Trump wants to reach an agreement with Iran, this 24 billion dollars is a test for the trust Iran will have in Trump; America must pass this test, and thus the path will be opened."
