Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the results of the negotiations held yesterday between Russian and US experts in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, are in the analysis phase and that only technical issues were discussed during these talks. Peskov stated that for this reason, the results of the negotiations will not be disclosed to the public.
Speaking to reporters in Moscow, Peskov stated that the negotiations have been reported to the respective capitals and that these results are currently being reviewed. On the other hand, he stated that there is no plan for a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding, "Contacts are continuing, but for now, there is no concrete development."
Kremlin Spokesperson Peskov also reported that a trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine, and the US is not on the agenda at this stage.
Peskov also condemned the attack carried out by Ukraine against Russian journalists yesterday and claimed that the international community has not shown a sufficient reaction to the attacks by the Kyiv administration. A reporter for the Russian newspaper Izvestia and a cameraman for the Zvezda television channel lost their lives in the attack.
