Landslides and floods in Switzerland: 4 dead, 2 missing
Four people have lost their lives and two others are missing following landslides and floods in the Swiss cantons of Valais and Ticino.

Heavy rainfall and melting snow have caused landslides and flooding in the Swiss cantons of Valais and Ticino. In a statement, police reported that 3 people lost their lives in a landslide in the Maggia Valley in Ticino, and that 1 person is missing.
Stating that a bridge in the valley has been submerged, police noted that people at a campsite in the valley were evacuated by helicopter, and that 300 people attending a local football tournament would also be evacuated by helicopter shortly.
Police stated that the lifeless body of 1 person was recovered in Saas-Grund in Valais, and reported that 1 person is missing in a different part of the canton.
Meanwhile, 1 person lost their life and 2 others went missing in a landslide that occurred in the Misox Valley in the canton of Graubünden on June 21.
