Lavrov: Ukraine launched an attack on Russian leader Putin's residence

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Ukraine attempted to attack the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Russia's Novgorodregion.Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied thealleged attack, stating that Russia'sstrikes on governmentbuildings in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv,are ongoing.preparing the ground for an attackon theresidence, he stated.

While negotiations for peace betweenRussia and Ukraine continue withU.S. mediation,Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that Ukraineattempted to target Russia's NovgorodRussian President Vladimir Putin's residence in the regionattempted an attack on the residence ofannounced.

Lavrov stated that Ukraine carried out an attack on Putin's residence on December 28-29 with 91 long-range unmanned aerial vehiclesandnoted that all of them were destroyed by Russian air defense systems.
