Lawsuit filed against the FBI: Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking of children and young women was permitted for a long time
A lawsuit has been filed against the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on the grounds that it "permitted for a long time" the sex trafficking of numerous children and young women by Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested on charges of sexual abuse of girls, pedophilia, and creating a prostitution network.

In a 27-page complaint submitted to the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, 12 unnamed victims accused the FBI of "repeated and ongoing failures, delays, and inaction" regarding billionaire Epstein's sexual abuse of many underage or adult women.
The complaint, sent to the court by the victims' lawyers, stated, "For more than 20 years, the FBI permitted Jeffrey Epstein to sex traffic and sexually abuse numerous children and young women by failing to do the job the American people expected of it and that its own rules and regulations required."
INVESTIGATION CLOSED
The 12 unnamed plaintiffs demanded compensation from the US government and the FBI, while also requesting the release of documents regarding Epstein, who was found dead in his prison cell in Manhattan, New York, in 2019.
The case file included details such as the FBI waiting a year to open a case despite local police in Palm Beach, Florida, submitting a report in 2005 that an underage girl was brought to Epstein's home to give a sexual massage. It also alleged that documents containing "definitive evidence of child abuse, including photographs, videos, and interviews" regarding Epstein and his accomplices from 1996 to 2005 were ignored by the FBI.
The case file recalled that Epstein pleaded guilty in 2006 to child molestation charges brought against him by two separate states and served 13 months in prison. Despite this, it was noted that the FBI disregarded the allegations reaching the agency regarding Epstein and closed the investigation into the billionaire businessman 2 years later.
