Lebanon prepares to file complaint against Israel at the UN
Lebanon has announced its determination to file a complaint with the UN Security Council, accusing Israel of dropping white phosphorus bombs on the country's southern border regions.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib stated in a written declaration that he has instructed the Lebanese mission to the United Nations to file a complaint with the UN Security Council to "condemn Israel's repeated use of white phosphorus in its attacks against Lebanon and its intentional burning of forests and wooded areas in Lebanon."
CLASHES CONTINUE
Firefighting vehicles were dispatched to the Sheikh Zeyn region in southern Lebanon yesterday to extinguish a fire caused by an Israeli attack.
Southern Lebanon has been the scene of clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, as well as Palestinian groups present in the country, for approximately 3 weeks.
