Maduro warns of 'civil war'
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated that certain groups, whom he accused of fascist extremism, are attempting to incite a "civil war" in the country.

Making assessments regarding the current agenda on the state channel VTV, Maduro touched upon the events in Syria and noted the following:
"We are observing painful developments for the Syrian people. We see that these fascist extremists are also trying to incite a civil war in Venezuela. We believe that the conspiracy attempts by the empire and the fascist right-wing against Venezuela have failed. Whenever an event occurs in the world, they want it to happen in Venezuela as well."
Emphasizing that Venezuela is strong enough not to fall for a potential provocation of civil war, Maduro stated that there is a strong solidarity between the people and the army in the country.
Maduro called on Arab countries to build comprehensive paths for development that will contribute to peace and put an end to violence and terrorism.
