At Ben Gurion Airport, Israel's only international airport, it was observed that only one officer was working at the passport control section for arrivals from abroad. At a location where hundreds of people usually wait in line to enter the country, only a few individuals were captured by cameras.
Heavy congestion reported for departures from Israel
Meanwhile, there is heavy congestion in the departures section of Ben Gurion Airport. Due to cancelled flights, many people are forced to wait at the airport for hours. Speaking at the airport, Michal Paprota said that they had come to Israel with a group of tourists from Poland and that their return flight was scheduled for yesterday.
Stating that they were forced to wait at the airport because their flight was cancelled, Paprota said, “There are women and children in our group as well. People are anxious because of what is happening. Since our flight was cancelled, we contacted Polish authorities, and they provided us with a plane for today. We hope to board the plane shortly to return to our country.”
