Media mogul calls for 'positive discrimination for Jews': Increasing Jewish population will contribute to Germany's prosperity

Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Germany's largest media group, Axel Springer, has stated that all Jews worldwide should be given preferential treatment compared to other immigrants to encourage them to migrate to Germany, and that the Jewish population in the country should be increased.

In an op-ed for the newspaper Welt, Döpfner claimed that an increase in the number of Jews would lead to better performance for businesses in Germany and that Jews would act as a balancing factor against Muslims in the country.

Stating that antisemitism is rising globally, Döpfner noted that Germany should encourage more Jewish immigration to increase the number of Jews in the country. Arguing that Jewish life is a part of German culture, Döpfner stated that there is no place for antisemitism in Germany.

'AN EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE PROGRAM FOR GERMANY'S PROSPERITY'

Döpfner said, "As the world becomes increasingly antisemitic, Germany is systematically attracting the greatest talents in business, science, art, and technology to its own country. This would be a signal against global antisemitism and would likely be an extremely effective program for Germany's prosperity."

Advocating that all Jews worldwide should be given preferential treatment compared to other immigrants regarding migration to Germany, Döpfner stated, "However, there is currently no talk of an influx of Jewish immigrants. On the contrary, more and more German Jews are leaving the country. Jews in Germany feel increasingly insecure and unwelcome as a result of misguided and failed immigration policies."
