Message from the Netherlands to Turkey ahead of EURO 2024 quarter-final

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs' X account posted, "We are sure that many fans from the Republic of Turkey will be watching today's match in the Netherlands. 

Sport can inspire, build bridges between differences, and change the world. Our shared passion for sport brings the Dutch and Turkish people closer together."

The post, which tagged the official X account of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also included the phrase "May the best team win" in Turkish.

The EURO 2024 quarter-final match between Turkey and the Netherlands will be played today at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, at 22:00 TRT.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also traveled to Berlin to support the Turkish National Football Team in the quarter-final match.
