Messages of support from world nations for the Kartalkaya fire tragedy: They emphasized 'solidarity'

World nations continue to offer their condolences and support to Turkey following the fire tragedy in Kartalkaya.

Following the message of support shared by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen yesterday, further messages of support for Turkey arrived from around the world today.

World nations, while conveying their condolences to Turkey, underscored that they stand in 'solidarity' and stated that they share Turkey's pain.

Colombia and Venezuela had already conveyed their condolences to Turkey by issuing messages of support and sympathy earlier in the day. In the messages shared regarding the tragedy in Kartalkaya, world nations also expressed their wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

KAZAKHSTAN

Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a message of condolence to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for those who lost their lives in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center.

According to the statement from the Kazakh Presidency, Tokayev stated in his message that he received the news that many people had lost their lives and were injured in the fire with great sadness.

On behalf of himself and his people, Tokayev conveyed his deepest condolences to President Erdoğan, the entire brotherly Turkish people, and the families of the deceased, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

IRAN

Iran issued a message of condolence for those who lost their lives in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center.

In the condolence message shared by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the government, expressions of sympathy and solidarity were conveyed to the families of those who lost their lives in the hotel fire in Bolu, as well as to the government and people of friendly and neighboring Turkey.

BAHRAIN

Bahrain shared a message of condolence for those who lost their lives in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center.

In a written statement from the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that Bahrain stands in solidarity with Turkey.

In the condolence message shared in both Turkish and Arabic on the X account of the new administration's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that they felt "deep sorrow" over the tragedy in Kartalkaya, where 76 people lost their lives.

The message included the following statements:

'We wish patience and condolences to the grieving families, relatives, and loved ones, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. The brotherly Turkish people have always been by our side and supported us in our most difficult moments. FRANCE

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot published a message of condolence for those who lost their lives in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Center.

In a statement on his X account, Barrot offered his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic fire in Kartalkaya, stating, 'France shares the grief of the Turkish people.'

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

In a condolence message sent to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Zeljka Cvijanovic, Chairwoman and Serb Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated that she was deeply shaken by the incident, and wished patience to the families of the deceased and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Bosniak Member of the Presidency Denis Becirovic stated that he offered his deepest condolences to the families and the Turkish people, and that his heart is with the families who lost their loved ones.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock wrote the following in a post she shared in German and Turkish on her social media account:
