It has been reported that Israel has conveyed to the US that a military operation is inevitable if the Radwan Force, affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon, is not removed from the border.

A report by Israel's state television KAN provided information regarding the message the Tel Aviv administration conveyed to the US.
The message noted that a military operation in the region is inevitable if an agreement is not reached soon on the removal of the Radwan Force from the Israeli border.
The report also emphasized that while Tel Aviv has observed a limited withdrawal of Radwan Force elements from the border region, it does not find this sufficient and is demanding that these elements be withdrawn beyond the Litani River.
PROMISE TO PUSH BEYOND THE LITANI RIVER
The report stated that the threat of anti-tank missiles and precision missiles being launched against Israeli territories has increased, and that this is the primary threat posed by Hezbollah on the northern border.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant promised in a statement in December 2023 that they would push Hezbollah beyond the Litani River in southern Lebanon, whether through an international political arrangement or military action.
In a statement made while inspecting troops on the Lebanese border on January 19, Gallant also underscored that they would ensure security "by force" if a diplomatic agreement is not reached that respects the right of Israeli citizens in the region to live in safety.
