Missile attack from Iran on Israel: 6th day of the war

The conflict between Iran and Israel continues on its 6th day. Iran has launched a new missile attack on Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that ballistic missiles fired from Iran toward Israel had been detected.

The IDF announced that the number of missiles fired from Iran was between 2 and 4, and that they had intercepted the attack, which they characterized as small-scale.

As sirens sounded across Israel, the Israeli public was instructed not to leave shelters until further notice. Israel's national emergency service, Magen David Adom, stated in a release following the attack that there were no casualties or property damage in urban areas.

EVACUATION WARNING FROM IRAN TO HAIFA

Prior to the attack in question, Iran issued an evacuation warning for the Israeli city of Haifa. Iranian media stated, "A few minutes ago, an evacuation notice was issued to Zionist settlers in Haifa so that they would not be harmed by the attacks."

In the warning sent to the Israeli public specifying the areas Iran would target, it was stated in Hebrew: "Please leave the reported areas immediately; in the coming hours, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will carry out an operation in this region to attack the military infrastructure of the Zionist regime."

400 BALLISTIC MISSILES AND 1,000 DRONES LAUNCHED

An official from the Israeli military also stated that a total of 400 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones have been launched at Israel by Iran since June 13. The Israeli official reported that approximately 20 of the launched missiles fell into residential areas in Israel.
