More than 200 people had lost their lives: Condolence message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Afghanistan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a message of condolence for those who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster that occurred in Afghanistan's Herat Province yesterday morning.

Yesterday morning, several earthquakes occurred, 2 of which were over magnitude 6. The destruction in the region was severe.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condolences were extended to the people of Afghanistan.
The statement from the Foreign Ministry is as follows:
“It has been learned with sorrow that more than 200 lives were lost and more than 1000 people were injured in the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan's Herat Province yesterday (October 7). We extend our condolences to the friendly and brotherly people of Afghanistan, wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to the injured. Turkey, as always, is ready to provide all kinds of support to help heal the wounds of our Afghan brothers and sisters.”
