In a post on the X account of the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM), it was stated that anti-Islamic slogans were written on the wall of the mosque affiliated with the Islamic Community National Vision (IGMG) organization in Annecy.

The post, which condemned the attack on the mosque in the "strongest possible terms," expressed solidarity with the mosque's congregation and its officials.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
