Move from France and Belgium regarding Iran

France and Belgium have summoned their respective Iranian ambassadors to their foreign ministries following the attack on Israel.

Following the attack on Israel, several countries have summoned their Iranian ambassadors to their foreign ministries.

In a statement issued by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was noted that the Iranian ambassador had been summoned to the ministry, and it was stated, "It was reiterated to him with great firmness that France condemns the attack." 

The statement indicated that France is working with its partners to de-escalate the situation and is calling on all parties to exercise restraint.

Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib also stated in a press release that the Iranian ambassador had been summoned to the ministry to condemn the attack on Israel, saying, "This attack endangers regional stability and the population, and takes us further away from peace.

I call on all parties to exercise restraint," she said.
