According to a report by the American channel CNN, which cited an unnamed source familiar with the call, Musk participated in the phone conversation between Trump and Zelenskyy.
It is noted that the call, which took place on November 6 between Trump—who promised during his campaign to end the Russia-Ukraine war if elected—and Zelenskyy, is significant for the trajectory of the region.
It is stated that Musk, who provides internet to Ukraine via Starlink satellites, is also closely following developments in the region in the context of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, in a post on his X account regarding the call, stated, "His tremendous campaign made this result possible. I commended his family and team for their great work."
Zelenskiy noted that they agreed to maintain close dialogue and advance cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing that "strong and unwavering US leadership is vital for the world and for a just peace."
It has been alleged that Musk, who openly supported Trump throughout the election campaign by donating millions of dollars, could take a role in the new cabinet.
