While employees of the Department of Justice, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Drug Enforcement Administration were urged to comply with Musk's request, some other ministries instructed their employees not to respond to this demand. In a post on the X platform, Musk warned employees by saying, 'Those who do not take this email seriously will soon be continuing their careers elsewhere.'
