Another ballistic munition determined to have been fired from Iran was neutralized in Turkish airspace by NATO air and missile defense assets. The first statement regarding the incident came from NATO. Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the necessary intervention was carried out the moment the ballistic munition entered Turkish airspace. It was stated that NATO air and missile defense systems deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean were activated and eliminated the threat.

4TH MISSILE FIRED FROM IRAN

On the other hand, missiles fired from Iran were shot down over the skies of Hatay on March 4 and Gaziantep on March 9. Regarding the 3rd missile neutralized on March 13, the Ministry of National Defense had stated, "It was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense assets deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean," without providing location information.
