Netanyahu and Trump to meet once again

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will meet with US President Donald Trump at the end of this month. Stating that they are ready to move to the second phase of the Gaza plan, Netanyahu expressed that they are on the verge of a new era regarding the peace process.

"WE ARE READY FOR THE SECOND PHASE"

The Israeli Prime Minister announced at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that their initial goals in Gaza have been successfully completed. Netanyahu stated that their next objective is to disarm Hamas. Providing information about his upcoming meeting with US President Trump, Netanyahu said, "We believe there is a path to a viable peace with Arab countries and our Palestinian neighbors," and noted that they are ready for the second phase of the peace plan in question.

Netanyahu stated that the first phase of Trump's Gaza plan has been largely completed, but the second phase is more complex and important. "I will have very important discussions at the end of the month on how to achieve the second phase," said Netanyahu, emphasizing that their goal in this process is to reach a lasting peace with Palestine.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, for his part, joined the statements made by Israel regarding the peace process and reiterated Berlin's support for a two-state solution. Merz expressed that the recognition of a Palestinian State should occur at the end of the peace process and that this process can only be achieved through negotiations. Merz also emphasized that Hamas's influence must be ended for peace to be lasting, stating, "Hamas cannot have a role in Gaza. It cannot pose a threat to Israel."

TWO-STATE SOLUTION AND PEACE PLAN

The German Chancellor also expressed the importance of implementing the second phase of the peace plan signed thanks to Trump. Stating, "Lasting peace is possible. A Palestinian state and a two-state solution can only be realized through negotiations," Merz noted that agreements made between the parties must be built on a solid foundation.
