Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that they support US President Donald Trump's 2-week ceasefire plan, which includes halting attacks on Iran, but stated that this process does not cover Lebanon.

In a written statement issued by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu's assessments regarding the ceasefire were included. The statement noted that Israel supports US efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to eliminate the missile threat against countries in the region.

Netanyahu also stated that the support for the ceasefire is conditional upon the Tehran administration keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and accepting the process.

US President Trump had announced that a mutual 2-week ceasefire with Iran had been accepted, provided that the Strait of Hormuz remains completely open.
