Netanyahu to activists wanting to bring aid to Gaza: They will continue to watch on YouTube

According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he personally gave the order to the Israeli military to attack the Global Sumud Flotilla 2026 Spring Mission in international waters off the coast of Greece last night.
Stating that none of the ships in the flotilla, which wanted to break the Israeli blockade and bring aid to Gaza, could "reach territorial waters," Netanyahu mocked the activists with the words, "They will continue to watch Gaza on YouTube."
Global Sumud Flotilla
The Global Sumud Flotilla 2026 Spring Mission, which aims to break Israel's blockade of Gaza and deliver vital humanitarian aid, set sail into the Mediterranean from Barcelona, Spain, on April 12.
While the flotilla set off again on April 26 with participants from the island of Sicily, Italy, the Israeli military carried out an illegal intervention on the night of April 29 in international waters off the coast of the island of Crete, attacking the boats carrying the activists.
According to information provided by flotilla officials, there are 345 participants from 39 different countries on the boats, including Turkish citizens.
No reliable information can be obtained regarding the fate of the civilians in the attack, which took place 600 nautical miles from Gaza and a few miles off Greek territorial waters.
Global Sumud Flotilla officials reported that the Israeli military seized 21 boats in the attack, 17 surviving boats entered Greek territorial waters, and 14 boats are currently sailing toward Greek territorial waters.
