Netflix cancels Halle Berry's film
Netflix has canceled the film The Mothership, starring Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry.
Halle Berry's starring sci-fi thriller The Mothership will not be released after Netflix decided to halt post-production.
Filming for The Mothership was completed in 2021, and it was originally scheduled for release in 2022, with promotional material even having been released.
COMPLETELY CANCELED
However, according to a report by Variety, the film fell victim to multiple delays and has now been completely canceled.
It was alleged that the film required significant reshoots; however, this would have been expensive and difficult due to the child actors having grown up.
The film was written and directed by Matthew Charman, who wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg's 2015 drama Bridge of Spies.
There has been no official statement from Berry or Netflix regarding the matter yet.
