Netflix's subscriber growth for the second quarter of the year has been announced

Accordingly, the company's revenue in the second quarter increased by approximately 17 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 9.6 billion dollars. The firm's revenue was recorded at 8.2 billion dollars in the second quarter of last year.
The company's net profit also reached 2.1 billion dollars in the second quarter, an increase of approximately 44 percent compared to the same period last year. Netflix's net profit in the second quarter of last year was 1.5 billion dollars.
The firm's earnings per share also rose from 3.29 dollars to 4.88 dollars during the same period.
Netflix's subscriber count increased by 8.05 million in the second quarter of the year. The company's total number of subscribers worldwide rose by 16.5 percent annually to 277.65 million.
Announcing its forecasts for the third quarter of the year, Netflix stated that it expects its revenue to be 9.7 billion dollars and its net profit to be approximately 2.2 billion dollars.
