New claim from the Israeli army: Hamas commander who was an UNRWA employee killed

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Daniel Hagari argued in a video message he released that the killed Abu Itiwi "played a direct role in the kidnapping and killing of Israeli civilians" on October 7.
Claiming that Abu Itiwi had been an employee of UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) since July 2022, Hagari said they possessed documents as evidence of this. Hagari added that they have requested an explanation from UN officials and an urgent investigation into the role of UNRWA employees on October 7.
