New gaffe from Biden, who said 'my memory is fine'! US media is talking about this...

US President Joe Biden evaluated the report recently released to the public by Special Counsel Hur during a press conference held at the White House in the evening.

Arguing that he had cooperated with the prosecution from the very beginning regarding the classified documents found at his home, that it was staff members rather than himself who carried most of the relevant files, and that he did not intentionally retain classified files, Biden said, "There were no charges brought against me in the report, and that was the right thing to do."

HE SAID "MY MEMORY IS QUITE GOOD"

On the other hand, emphasizing that he was uncomfortable with some of the expressions written in the same report regarding his own memory and age, Biden argued that his mental health and memory were in very good condition.

Stating, "He said my memory is not good; my memory is fine. It is stated that I do not remember the year of my son's death; how dare they, who could forget that," Biden stated that such expressions in Special Counsel Hur's report were not true.

HE CALLED SISI THE "PRESIDENT OF MEXICO"

Biden, who stated several times that his memory was in good condition, became a topic of discussion in the American public and media when he said, "I spoke with Mexican President Sisi" while answering a question about Gaza just minutes after these sentences.

Especially Republican members of Congress shared the video clip containing this sentence by Biden on their social media accounts, commenting that "Biden is not fit for the presidency."

In the American media, comments also came to the fore that Biden's characterization of Sisi as the President of Mexico immediately after saying his memory was in good condition raised serious question marks.

US Special Counsel Robert Hur had announced that he would not bring charges against President Joe Biden, stating that while Biden "knowingly" retained classified documents found at his home, his "memory was poor" to the extent that he could not remember the details regarding both his cooperation in the investigation and the documents themselves.

In his report, Hur had included the sentence, "At trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

In two separate statements made in January 2023, it was reported that classified documents belonging to the periods when Biden served in the Senate and as vice president were found both in his personal office at the Penn Biden Center and later in a section of his home.
