New statement from the White House regarding a ceasefire

Following U.S. President Joe Biden's statement to the press yesterday that "Israel has submitted a new proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire to Hamas," all eyes have turned to the region.

Following Hamas's statements that they view the proposal positively, what will happen in the region has become a subject of curiosity. 

In a statement released by the White House today, it was stated, "Everyone who wants peace should raise their voice now. They should tell Hamas leaders to accept the deal, to work to make it real and lasting, and to forge a better future out of this tragic war."

The statement conveyed that Biden said, "It is time to begin this new stage.

It is time for this war to end, for the hostages to come home, for the suffering to end, and for Israel to be secure."
