It has been reported that France's newly appointed Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, has been expelled from the center-right The Republicans (LR) party.

EXPELLED FROM HER PARTY

LR Party Chairman Eric Ciotti announced on the social media platform X that Dati had been expelled from their party. Ciotti stated, "Rachida Dati has chosen to join the government. She is positioning herself outside of our political family." Declaring that Dati is no longer in The Republicans party, Ciotti noted that their party is in opposition.

Ciotti emphasized that they have drawn the necessary conclusions in the face of the choice Dati has made.

Dati, who was appointed as Minister of Culture to Prime Minister Gabriel Attal's cabinet today, previously served as Minister of Justice during the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy.
