According to a report by Nikkei, Honda Motor and Nissan Motor are preparing to begin discussions on a potential merger, aiming to combine their resources to strengthen their positions in the electric vehicle market.
The report stated that the two Japanese automakers are evaluating the possibility of operating under a joint holding company and that a memorandum of understanding to formally initiate these negotiations is expected to be signed soon.
