No word for 17 days from 3 Turks missing in Israel
There has been no word for 17 days from 3 Turkish citizens who attempted to cross from Lebanon into Israel via illegal routes. The families of the missing individuals, who last shared their location from the Lebanon-Israel border, are waiting for hopeful news.

Hüseyin Kaya (53), a construction worker and father of 3 living in the Kaman district of Kırşehir, along with his colleagues Çınar Alp Baydenk and Sezer Özdemir, had traveled to Israel some time ago to collect outstanding payments for work they had performed there.
The 3 friends traveled from Istanbul to Lebanon on January 9. There has been no word for 17 days from the 3 individuals, who attempted to cross into Israel from the Lebanese border via illegal routes on January 11.
"WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY NEWS FOR 17 DAYS"
Rıza Kaya, the nephew of the missing Hüseyin Kaya, said, “We have not received any news for 17 days. They were following a route to go from Lebanon to Israel. They were trying to cross the border into the Israeli side on their own, and we have not heard from them for 17 days. They set out on Saturday. After they set out, their location data cut off around 9:30 PM. A fourth person could not go because they had an accident while trying to join. They were talking to that person. Çınar Alp is there, and his location remained fixed in one place for 8 hours. We have no definitive information on whether they were bombed, or if they were tracked and captured.
They have been missing for 17 days. They had taken a job from a firm. They worked there. They had significant outstanding payments. They were reported. They were deported and sent back to Turkey. This happened 7 months ago. Because they could not collect their payments, they entered such a dangerous path. We went to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We explained our situation. We are in contact with the consulates. We cannot get any news. They are currently missing from the Lebanese border. There was no situation where they had already crossed into Israel illegally. Because they were just walking at the border, a drone captured images at 6:00 PM. Contact was lost at 9:30 PM. We wonder if they were tracked and taken by Israeli security forces? We are comforting ourselves with such a thought,” he said.
