The proposal notes that the government is calling for the "unconditional recognition of an independent Palestinian state when it has a positive impact on the peace process, without being dependent on any final peace agreement."
On the other hand, the proposal, which was accepted by the majority of parties in Parliament, states that the Palestinian state will "not be recognized immediately."
