According to information obtained from American security sources, significant evidence was obtained in the hotel room where suspect Cole Tomas Allen was staying prior to the armed attack that took place at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner held in Washington. Security officials stated that Allen had clearly written down his attack preparations and planned targets on a piece of paper. It was learned that the incident came to light after an acquaintance who saw the plan in question notified the police.
The notes left by Allen included a list and priority order of officials serving in the Trump administration, as well as statements indicating that he would take action if he deemed it necessary.
