CENTCOM announced that the number of US soldiers who lost their lives in Iran's retaliatory attacks has risen to 6. It was stated that the bodies of 2 US soldiers were recovered at a facility hit during Iran's initial attacks, and added, "Major combat operations are ongoing."
It was reported that the identities of the deceased soldiers will be released to the public after their next of kin have been notified.
