Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio announces who he will vote for in the US election
US actor Leonardo DiCaprio has announced that he will vote for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the presidential election to be held on November 5.

World-renowned Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has expressed his support for Harris in a video post shared on his Instagram account.
Drawing attention to climate change in his post, DiCaprio stated, "Climate change is killing the earth and ruining our economy. We need a bold step forward to save our economy, our planet, and ourselves. That is why I am voting for Kamala Harris."
In the video, DiCaprio also pointed to the recent hurricanes Helene and Milton that struck Florida, and praised Harris's ambitious goals to reach net-zero emissions by 2050 and help build a green economy.
Criticizing Donald Trump for withdrawing the US from the Paris Climate Agreement and rolling back "critical environmental protections," DiCaprio argued that Trump continues to deny facts and science.
DiCaprio had also announced his support for the then-Democratic party candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
