Passenger plane flying from Tehran to Tabriz makes emergency landing in Ardabil

According to the Iranian official news agency IRNA, Ardabil Province Airports General Manager Mohammad Kasabi announced that the passenger plane, which had taken off from Tehran bound for Tabriz, was forced to land in Ardabil due to a technical malfunction.
Stating that there was no loss of life in the incident, Kasabi noted that 4 people complained of severe nausea, headaches, and ear pain following the emergency landing, and that these passengers were treated on-site.
The Iranian official did not provide further details regarding the technical malfunction or the specifics of the incident.
The Ardabil University of Medical Sciences announced that after the situation was reported, 7 ambulances and an ambulance bus were dispatched to the scene, and hospitals were placed on high alert.
It was reported that the passenger plane that made the emergency landing was a Fokker-100 aircraft belonging to Iran Air.
