According to CNN, American Airlines flight 271 from Los Angeles to Hawaii experienced an issue during landing for reasons yet to be determined.
As a result of the plane, which had 167 passengers and 7 crew members on board, making a hard landing at Kahului Airport in Hawaii, 1 passenger and 5 flight attendants were injured.
It was announced that the 6 injured individuals are in good condition.
In a statement made by the airline, it was noted that the aircraft has been taken out of service as a precaution.
The statement on the website of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) noted that the cause of the plane's hard landing will be investigated.
