Pezeshkian challenges Israel: 'We will not take a step back'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made a statement on his social media account following the Israeli attacks.

In his post, Pezeshkian emphasized that his country prioritizes protecting national security and the peace of its people, stating,"Our priority is national security and the peace of our people. We are resolutely defending the rights of the nation and will not take a step back against any threat." he said.

Touching upon Iran's approach in the fields of diplomacy and defense, Pezeshkian added, "Diplomacy and defense are the two wings of national power; we have neither abandoned the field nor the negotiating table." he stated.

Continuing his statement, Pezeshkian noted that the country will act in unity, "With God's permission, Iran will emerge from this test with its head held high through unity and rationality," he assessed.
