Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in his assessment regarding the possibility of negotiations with the US, said that talks do not mean "surrender." Pezeshkian stated that his country aims to move forward step-by-step in the negotiation process while observing its "wisdom, dignity, and interests."

According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian spoke at a meeting titled "Today's Women, Tomorrow's Iran," attended by women and experts working in various fields in Tehran. Addressing the possibility of war and negotiation, Pezeshkian expressed that Iran defends its territorial integrity against attacks, but does not see war as a goal.
