Pezeshkian: World powers want to force us to submit

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Iranian athletes who won awards in international competitions in the capital, Tehran. Addressing the problems within the country, Pezeshkian stated that as a government, they will continue to work despite all the shortcomings and existing difficulties, saying, "We will work for our Iran at the cost of our lives. Despite the pressures placed upon us and the injustices and unfairness displayed, we will strive to overcome problems by strengthening the unity of society."

Touching upon the US military threats against Iran, Pezeshkian emphasized that they would not take a step back in the face of external pressures, stating, "World powers are confronting us with injustice and want to force us to submit. Just as our people have not bowed their heads in the face of difficulties, we will not submit in the face of problems."

Giving a message of national unity, Pezeshkian said, "We are one nation and we must act as a single whole. We must stand shoulder to shoulder against all these difficulties and put our disagreements and problems aside. By acting in unity, we must heal the wounds that have emerged and repair all the damage caused in society together."
