Polish President Andrzej Duda, in an interview with the Poland-based newspaper Fakt, evaluated the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons in his country.

Duda stated that Russia has been "further militarizing the Kaliningrad region in the country's far west and has recently moved its nuclear weapons to Belarus."

Expressing that nuclear weapon sharing between Poland and the US has been discussed "for some time," Duda said, "If our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons on our territory to strengthen NATO's eastern flank, we are ready for it."
