During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Germany, the Ukraine-Russia war, and developments regarding Israel's attacks on Gaza were discussed.
During the meeting, AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan stated that pressure should be put on Israel to end its attacks on Gaza and not to waste the emerging ceasefire opportunity, while also noting that it is important to increase efforts to prevent the conflicts from spreading to the region.
Erdoğan expressed that Turkey expects support from Germany for the revitalization of its European Union membership process.
