Authorities in the US state of Virginia said that a small plane crashed into a wooded area on Sunday, killing all five people on board, including a child.
Virginia State Police stated that the twin-engine private jet of the "IAI Astra 1125" type crashed in Virginia's Bath announced that it crashed into the region.
The statement noted that a fire broke out following the crash and that 5 people on board, including one child, lost their lives.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board announced that they will conduct a joint investigation into the accident.
