Private jet crashes while landing at airport in the US

A private jet in the US, at the Statesville Regional Airport located in the state of North Carolinawhile landing, crashed. Following the accident, the jet turned into a fireball,and numerous fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene of the crash.Iredell County Sheriff Grant Campbell stated that there were fatalities in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that the private jet was a Cessna C550and that it crashedwhile landing at approximately 10:20 a.m. local time, adding that an investigation into the accidentstated that an investigation has been launched.

Statesville Regional Airport is used by Fortune 500 companies and several NASCAR teams for their aircrafts.It was stated thatit was being used.
