As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, the world is protesting Israel's brutal assaults. Pro-Palestine support marches were held in more than 70 cities across Spain, led by the city of Barcelona.

'FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE'

Thousands of Palestine supporters, who marched from Sants Station to Plaza de España in Barcelona, called for freedom for the Palestinian people and for the international community to mobilize. Protesters chanted slogans such as "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" and "Where are the sanctions on Israel," while carrying banners reading "Killing children is not self-defense" and "Free Palestine." A banner in the march featuring a picture of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen with the caption "Ms. Genocide" drew attention.

In the march held in Madrid, thousands of Palestine supporters also chanted slogans such as "Israel kills, Europe supports" and "That was a hospital, not a military base."
