Prosecutor makes accusation with photograph in Maradona death trial
In the trial regarding the death of Argentine football legend Diego Maradona, prosecutor Patricio Ferrari harshly criticized the medical team during the hearing by showing a photograph of Maradona on his deathbed.

Speaking in court, Ferrari showed the photograph to the judge and stated, "This is how Maradona died. If anyone tells you that you didn't see what happened to Diego, they are lying."
Addressing the conditions of Maradona's care, Ferrari said, "The situation is quite clear. Think of your own relative; if you saw someone lying in a bed for days, those who say this is not a murder are lying."
In the photograph shown by the prosecutor, it was seen that Maradona's abdomen was swollen and there was no one around him.
It was observed that his daughters, Dalma and Gianinna, could not hold back their tears upon seeing the photograph.
Seven people who were part of the legendary footballer's medical team are accused of causing death through negligence.
According to local media, the defendants are being tried on charges of "intentional homicide," and it is assessed that they could face between 8 and 25 years in prison if found guilty.
REGARDING MARADONA'S DEATH
Within the scope of the investigation opened after his death, 7 people, including Maradona's neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque and his psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, were accused of causing the legendary footballer's death.
Maradona, who is considered among the greatest players in football history, passed away on November 25 in the city of Tigre, in Argentina's Buenos Aires province, due to "acute pulmonary edema secondary to chronic heart failure."
