Approximately 2,000 people gathered at Potsdamer Platz to protest Israel's attacks on Gaza and show solidarity with Palestine, marching from there to the Federal Parliament (Bundestag).
During the demonstration, some protesters were temporarily detained for identification checks due to allegations that provocative slogans questioning Israel's right to exist were chanted.
During the march, slogans such as "Germany funds, Israel bombs," "Shame on you," and "No weapons to Israel" were chanted.
Some protesters carried signs and banners reading, "Stop supporting Israel with my taxes" and "As Jews, we call for an end to arms support for genocide."
