In a statement issued by DİTİB, it was stated that provocative and threatening letters were sent yesterday to the DİTİB Mosque in the city of Dortmund and the Moroccan Islamic Mosque in Düsseldorf.

The statement indicated that both incidents have been reported to the police and that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Last week, bomb threats were also made by unidentified person or persons against several DİTİB mosques in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW); searches conducted at the mosques, where Friday prayers could not be held, revealed that the threats were unfounded.
