PSG fans celebrated their team's triumph with enthusiasm and fireworks on the streets of Paris, around the Parc des Princes Stadium, and throughout the capital.
Footage shared on social media showed police using tear gas and batons to disperse crowds of fans around the Parc des Princes Stadium and on the Champs-Élysées.
Meanwhile, some barricades around the stadium and at least one vehicle were set on fire, with fire crews arriving at the scene to extinguish the blazes.
Some fans jumped into the road, crossing security cordons to evade police.
Fans attempting to reach the Champs-Élysées to celebrate PSG's victory caused a stampede at a suburban train station.
The Ministry of the Interior announced that 559 people were detained in the incidents following PSG's victory, with the majority of arrests occurring in the capital, Paris. Of those detained, 254 were arrested.
According to information obtained by BFMTV from police sources, 7 firefighters, 22 police officers, and nearly 200 civilians were also injured in incidents linked to the celebrations.

A 17-year-old youth was stabbed to death during celebrations in Dax, in the Landes department. An investigation into the incident has been launched, and police efforts to apprehend the murder suspect are ongoing.
In the 15th arrondissement of Paris, a woman riding a scooter was struck by a vehicle during the celebrations. The 20-year-old woman lost her life in the accident.
